1. Information We Collect

When you use our interactive workbench or submit an order on https://www.recipetolabel.com, we collect only the information needed to prepare, verify, and deliver your FDA nutrition labels and compliance reports:

• Contact & Brand Details: Your name, company/brand name, email address, telephone number, and billing information (processed securely by Stripe, Inc.).
• Recipe & Formulation Data: Ingredient names, batch weights, cooking yield loss percentages, serving sizes, and supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs) submitted through our intake form or via email to dylan@recipetolabel.com.
• Basic Technical Logs: Standard HTTP request logs required to operate and secure our web application.

2. Strict Confidentiality of Your Recipes (Non-Disclosure Commitment)

Your recipes and ingredient ratios are your intellectual property. We never sell, publish, share, or license customer formulations to third parties, co-packers, or competitors. Submitted recipe data is used solely to calculate your Nutrition Facts panel, ingredient statement, allergen declaration, and 21 CFR 101.9 recordkeeping certificate.

3. Payment Processing Security

All credit card and checkout transactions are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. over encrypted TLS connections. RecipeToLabel never stores raw payment card numbers or CVV security codes on our servers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion Requests

To support you during FDA or retail buyer audits (which require 2-year recordkeeping under 21 CFR 101.9(g)(8)), we retain your completed nutrition analysis and order reference on file unless you request deletion. You may request a complete export or permanent deletion of your recipe records at any time by emailing dylan@recipetolabel.com.
